It's been a while...

Well... I decided it has been QUITE a while since I last posted... So I will update.
LIFE AS I KNOW IT!
I started High School!! Yay? Sigh. I guess its better than Jr. High, but still. High school is so.... Meh.. I mean, don't get me wrong, high school is great. The classes are fun, You make new friends, people think of you as an older kid, BUT there is also downsides to all of these. For instance. More homework. Heartbreak. New NEMISIES. Jk. I don't have nemesi. (That's plural for nemesis.) Jesus said love everyone! ;)
Anyways.
The marching band season ended, and the winter guard season has just begun! We go 5 hours every 'A' day to get ready to be the best for competitions. And our show this year is pretty sick. You just will have to come and see it. One exciting part, I'm on Sabre line!! Now, some of you may not know what this is. In color guard, you can spin a flag, a rifle or a sabre. Everyone is on Rifle and Flag, but NOT everyone is on sabre! But I am!! So Pumped. It is going to be freaking amazing. For Band tour we went to Disneyland!! I wish we could go back. It was so fun!! And that is all i'm going to say.
I have made many a new friend since I have been in high school, by name a couple are Sidney, Luis, Sam.... Etc Etc... I have also planned 3 dates! But wait you say, You are not yet 16! And I say to that, They are summer dates silly! AFTER I turn 16! My half birthday was just this last Friday, December 7th. So there are exactly 6 months till my birthday. Or 177 days and 8 hours. Or 4256 Hours. Or 255360 minutes. But who's counting right?
Christmas is coming! Eek! This is no doubt my favorite Holiday of the year. NOT because of presents, (but those are fantastic) but because I get to see my family, and spend time with them. It is a holiday of Joy, and Happiness. I get to see My younger brothers face light up when he sees all the gifts that "Santa" has brought.
Santa update. All of the kids in my immediate family know the truth about Santa. Ben (9) has not yet learned the truth. We are expecting that he will either find out soon, or never. You see, even though he is physically 9, he is about mentally 2-4. He still believes in the magic of Santa, Ruldolph, Elves, so on and so forth. We are going to let him live this out for as long as we possibly can before the kids at school RUIN IT FOR HIM.
Now you learn about how I came to know if Santa existed. It was a very rude awakening. I was shamefully to old to still think he existed, but I lived blissfully in my ignorance. I was..... 11. I was 11 years old when I was slapped in the face by reality. My parents didn't even tell me! STORY TIME!!
I was sitting at the lunch table with all of my fellow classmates. It was near Christmas time and all of us children were chattering about how we were going on vacation, or what we wanted. When somewhere from the end if the table a girl, (who I will not name because I don't want her to feel TERRIBLE FOR RUINING MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS) (you know who you are) says, Anyone who is smart know that Santa does NOT EXIST. The reality I lived in shattered. I felt betrayed, sad, cold, and angry all at the same time. Who knew an 11 year old could carry so much emotion. I tried to ignore it at first. I tried to go back to the deepest darkest corner of my mind and rock myself into a Santa filled wonderland. But it didn't work. I realized that I would never believe in the hoax that filled my childhood memories ever again.
Now I realize that I was a bit old to still think he existed, but it was my Christmas. I could believe in him if I wanted to ok!? Jeez.
Where was I? Oh yeah.
My family is coming up from California, and we are having Christmas at the Grandparents! I am pretty excited.
